Four strokes. No shortcuts.
The heart of the engine, pulled out and drawn to scale. It shows a domed 86 mm piston with three ring grooves, the wrist pin through the boss, and an I-beam connecting rod running down to the split big end and its cap bolts. The 1.75 rod ratio is a long rod built for smooth, high-rpm running.
For anyone who's had an engine on a stand and knows what's inside.
